Seth Bass is the Executive Director of the Orange County Education Foundation, bringing over 20 years of institutional advancement experience across private and independent K–12 schools in Southern California. His background encompasses leadership in Development, Constituent Relations, Alumni Engagement, and service as a Board Trustee. A passionate fundraiser, Seth believes deeply in the transformative power of quality K–12 education and is committed to increasing access to tuition-based schools for underserved populations, ensuring cost is never a barrier for deserving students.

Darcy Tanner serves as the Operations Coordinator for the Orange County Education Foundation, supporting the day-to-day operations and helping advance the foundation’s work in support of education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and has spent much of her career at Fairmont Private School, where she worked in a variety of roles before most recently serving as the school librarian. Her years working in education have given her a strong understanding of the school community and a passion for supporting programs and initiatives that benefit students and educators. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, playing pickleball, and traveling.

Dr. Austin Hoover is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and the owner of Hoover Oral Surgery in Santa Ana. An Orange County native, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University before completing his DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, followed by his surgical residency at the Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and holds hospital privileges at Orange County Global Medical Center. Deeply rooted in the community he serves, Austin coaches youth basketball and is a devoted father of four, and he brings that same commitment to opportunity and mentorship to his service on the OCEF board.

Brenda Adeva has a passion for both education and nonprofits, having been an English as a Second Language teacher for 15 years and the director of a nonprofit supporting after-school programs including salsa dancing, jiu-jitsu, and aerial arts. She is currently an educational sales consultant at an English as a Second Language publishing company, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and a master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She taught and worked at Fairmont with international students for 10 years, and is a wife and mother to two talented children.
